TIME AND SEASON

Time simply means passing periods, that is, the progressive movement of period. Time is progressive. Time is measured in minutes and hours.

Basically, The seasons are the main periods into which a year can be divided and which each have their own typical weather conditions.

 Season can also refer to the period during which a particular activity or event takes place. Time and season work pari passu. Season expires in the progression of time, and time swallows up each season. 

   The life we live as human being is for a season (period of time), and whatever we do here on Earth awaits judgement. Hence, man passes through different stages of life which are marked by seasons. There are five (6) major stages of human life, they are; Infancy, Childhood, Puberty,Adolescence, Early Adulthood, Mid-Adulthood and Late Adulthood. These stages is what I further group in to  four (4) seasons of human life which are;

The Infancy/Childhood Stage/Puberty

These stages are marked by the season of Dependency. As a child grows up through these three stages, he's totally dependent on family and the society for mentorship. This is the season when you don't have yourself, you don't know anything about yourself, you mimic your parents and people around you to do your own thing. You can't make any viable decisions at this stage. Every aspects of one's life is under control and guidance of the parents and people around. A child learns from the society at this stage and his life is patterned in accordance with the societal norms and culture.

Adolescence/Early Adulthood

After been groomed goodly or badly by the parents and the society, the next season of man's life is the season of Discovery and Preparation. This season begins with the process of self realization and self-discovery. This is when a man begins to know what he can take from a friend and what he will never take. This is when a man begins to learn what makes him different from other people. This is when a man learns how to make decisions for himself, understands himself and what makes him unique. This is the stage of trial and error. This season is the most important stage of life, it is the foundation of a man's fulfillments on Earth. This is when a man begins to invest on himself, here a man is able to determine what are his wants, needs and limitations. At times you find out that you can do something, but you won't just have interest, as a matter of fact, that you can do something doesn't mean you should do it. Here is when a man designs and strategize on how his future will look like. This is the stage when you convince yourself about what you want.

Early Adulthood/Mid-Adulthood 

This season is the season of Action. The real future. This is the season that man is found to be most committed. Do you still remember an adage that say " As you lay your bed, so will lie on it". Meaning that, a man who fails to discover himself and Prepare well at the proceeding season will find life so difficult to cope with at this stage. And as God had designed it, time is irreversible but progressive. Any time wasted or misused can never be regained. At this stage you must have been married, and all you do is face the business of raising children, building Legacies, maximizing your potentials. This is when a man found himself living the life differently from the way he found it, this is when a man can get his name immortalized through investing into lives. This season is when a man builds the most beautiful relationship with his family. This is when a man work out his dreams and discoveries in the preceding season.

Late Adulthood

This is the last season of Man. The season of Retirement and Rest although it's not so for everyman for only those who work deserve rest. Many people wasted the most important seasons of their lives and when it's time for them to rest, they find themselves still working.

This season is the season when a man should make his life pattern a legacy for his decendants. A period to prepare for the inevitable end of every man, death. Mark Manson says  "As humans, we have a deep need to feel as though our lives mean something. This meaning we constantly search for is literally our only psychological defense against the incomprehensibility of this life and the inevitability of our own death." Meaning,The beginning of every man is finding a way to live meaningful Life, but the end is death. Death is inevitable. Every man will die.

  It is written in Ecc 3:1 "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under Heaven." So as the time swallows up every season in your face, make good records from every season and live your life as well as possible.
