PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION

We are in a society where everybody seems to be dependent on one another for their growth which is an iota of ignorance. Ignorance has caused a lot of people to miss their place in life through dependency on their fellow men to develop them where they should develop themselves.
In this kind of society we are in, any man who sets out not to depend on anyone is seen as an abnormal being. Truly, the person is not normal because the society we are in is used to uniformity of lifestyle, so if you make yourself different, you are definitely not normal. What are we saying? Living a transformational life should not be something of the society as majority see it, it is a personal responsibility which our society is too myopic to see. If you must make a difference, it must be through your personal efforts.
However, personal Transformation as I will define it is, "an act, a process of making a visible and positive difference through self-education and prunning." We are talking about transformation, I mean PERSONAL transformation, an act of transforming your life by yourself.
The first thing we need to understand here is that, it is an act, transformation however is only achievable through ACTIONS not THOUGHTS, DREAMS and WILLINGNESS, but ACTIONS. It is good to think and dream good dreams about your life, it is good to be willing to become a great person in life, but if you take no action, such thoughts will grow and die in you. Therefore, to make a differential change in life, your action is needed, no action no achievements. You need to take a step, don't be slack, don't be weary, you need to set yourself into action.
Second thing to note is, transformation is a process, it does not happen by chance. It is a race, it is a walk, it is a work. Making a difference is a step by step work, it does not happen overnight. Transformation is not a possession but a procession of dreams and goals. It deals with processing your dreams into a fashionable one that every one will want to tap from.
Human being as we grow in life, we realize that, at a stage, we don't expect anybody to teach us how to do some certain things again. The society assumes you know, probably because you pass through school. But to be frank, the kind of society we live is totally unaware of the fact that, everything can not be thought by parents, in school or in the community. We are pushed to schools as if, all about life is in school. Whereas, coping with life has nothing to do with the certificate you attain in school, they are different worlds, school is different from life. You live in life till you die, and school is still in life, even though you use your whole life in school. Life lessons are different from school lessons.          The school teaches you lessons before test, but life gives you tests from which you learn your lessons. Therefore, because life is a different world from school, every man should take up the responsibility of self education so as to make a difference in life.
When a man graduates from the University and he is to go for an interview, if he doesn't dress well, the society will question, are you not a graduate? He will reply and say, of course I am. And look at the way you dress, the man is confused and surprised with that kind of challenge, his thoughts would be, was it dressing I went to school to study? But in reality, someone can assume a graduate should already know that the way you dress is the way you will be addressed.  And that is the beginning of the constraints and contention in our society ,what you were taught for minimum of four (4) years in institution is never asked in an interview, you can't even relate any of it in your field while doing the job.
This is telling us that, whatever you are taught in school is barely applicable to life, but all you teach yourself, positive things you teach yourself are those which can transform your life and make you a better person in life.
How much effort you make on yourself personally will determine your outcome in life, not what you are thought in school. Set out for actions, set out to process your dreams, it is your responsibility, it is called Personal Transformation.

THE MIRROR: IDENTITY AND SELFHOOD

Identity. It’s the essence of who you are—your personality, the core of your being. Selfhood, on the other hand, is the expression of that identity, the way you present yourself to the world. Think back to a time when you had to show your identity card. Do you remember the reaction of the person you handed it to? Likely, they nodded in approval, having seen all the necessary information about you on that card. Your identity, in that moment, was defined by the details captured on that small piece of plastic. But identity is more than just what's written on a card. It’s how you define yourself and how others perceive you. It’s the name you give yourself, the image you project, and the way people recognize you. Selfhood is often conveyed through three key aspects: - Dressing (Your Appearance) - Actions (What You Do and How You Do It) - Speech (The Words You Speak and How You Utter Them)  Dressing (Your Appearance) There’s a common saying: "Appearance shows the manner." Where...

The Greatest Goal

When the ball enters the net, they say it's a goal! And the loosing team feel defeated forgetting that they've got the greatest goal.  Same to a man who has all his goals lain down and strategically pulling his efforts towards the goal but to realize at the end that, his goals can't be achieved, for known or unknown reasons. He looses strength. At times, he can feel like it's over. But the truth remains that it's not over until it is over. He's got the greatest goal.       Really, a goal is the achievement toward which effort is directed. And billions are the "I want to", "by God's grace I will", "in fact, I must" in the speeches of every man, especially at the beginning of every matter, but strength wanes and the story changes maybe in the middle of the road. Because all efforts put towards the achievement of the goals seem to be less affective. The truth is, no man has control over whatever happens and will happen....
