SINGLEHOOD IS A SEASON

Singlehood Is A Season In Your Lifetime
Singlehood is a state of being single, a state of not being entangled or married. The singlehood season is a period while you are yet unmarried and waiting for marriage.
In our various societies, especially in this present generation, we hold on to lots of erroneous beliefs about singlehood. We believe that the singlehood is a period to flex and enjoy ourselves, we say it's a period of freedom to do whatever we like, it is a period to mesmerize. Well, while all these are good and fact, they are not all true and what God has designed the period for. What then are the truths about singlehood?
    Singlehood is a "Season"
Just as we have the raining season and all other seasons in the year, also singlehood is a season. It is impossible for rain to fall round the year in this Country Nigeria for instance, it rains for a season and it stops. Singlehood just like season is for a period of time, it ends on your wedding day. Actually, someone can be single again marriage, but we are focused on your singlehood before wedding.
Ask the farmers the reason why they do not plant every crops in every seasons of the year, they would tell you that, every season is not good for every crops. Each of them have seasons they can be planted, if they must yield good fruits, they must be planted in due season. Likewise the season of singlehood, you can not do everything in this season, the season is meant and designed by God to orchestrate certain of His purposes of your existence and if you bring strange seeds to the season, they would either not yield good fruits or destroy the rest of the seasons of your live.
And now that your singlehood will last someday, do you think it is the best period to play away your time? A lot of people in their Singlehood period has jeopardized other seasons of their lives because of their careless and reckless lifestyle lived during thier singlehood season.
You become conscious of yourself around your middle adolescence age, if we are to calculate it from that age, the longest you can stay in your singlehood is 20 years. No matter how long or short, it will end. So, do not mourn the season, jerk up, and make most of the season. Use the season to plant good seeds that would fetch you many(life, wisdom, peace, strong relationship with God) and money in the noon and even seasons of your life.

THE MIRROR: IDENTITY AND SELFHOOD

Identity. It’s the essence of who you are—your personality, the core of your being. Selfhood, on the other hand, is the expression of that identity, the way you present yourself to the world. Think back to a time when you had to show your identity card. Do you remember the reaction of the person you handed it to? Likely, they nodded in approval, having seen all the necessary information about you on that card. Your identity, in that moment, was defined by the details captured on that small piece of plastic. But identity is more than just what's written on a card. It’s how you define yourself and how others perceive you. It’s the name you give yourself, the image you project, and the way people recognize you. Selfhood is often conveyed through three key aspects: - Dressing (Your Appearance) - Actions (What You Do and How You Do It) - Speech (The Words You Speak and How You Utter Them)  Dressing (Your Appearance) There’s a common saying: "Appearance shows the manner." Where...

The Greatest Goal

When the ball enters the net, they say it's a goal! And the loosing team feel defeated forgetting that they've got the greatest goal.  Same to a man who has all his goals lain down and strategically pulling his efforts towards the goal but to realize at the end that, his goals can't be achieved, for known or unknown reasons. He looses strength. At times, he can feel like it's over. But the truth remains that it's not over until it is over. He's got the greatest goal.       Really, a goal is the achievement toward which effort is directed. And billions are the "I want to", "by God's grace I will", "in fact, I must" in the speeches of every man, especially at the beginning of every matter, but strength wanes and the story changes maybe in the middle of the road. Because all efforts put towards the achievement of the goals seem to be less affective. The truth is, no man has control over whatever happens and will happen....
