The Youth Proverbs (Vol.15): "Your time is Your Life"

It happens to Time as it is to man:
They mature and expire.
Life in volume,Time in seconds,
They grow,mature and expire.

A second wasted, a (volume of) life wasted,
Time is a river that swims life away,
The life of man is his time spent,
Anyhow spent, time has no voice to shout.

Spent but not a currency,
Currency has a circle,
No one sees the return of time,
It flows and fades like smoke.

The most expensive time of man is;
The youthful season,
The shortest of man's time,
The sweetest of man's life.

Your youthful season,
Though short is greater than your old age,
The value is in thousands fold,
Thus locusts seek to eat it up.

Time has no value tag,
You add value to your time spent living,
The substance in your life is proportional to the value of your time spent,
No substance in life, no value in time spent.

If your life is void, your time on earth is of no value,
And remember, time flies,
If it flies, you've got to fly,
Do not crawl while your time flies.

For every purpose there is time,
Your purpose in youthful age grows and expires with time,
Though the impact remains, but;
If your purpose crawls, it will meet time when its time is expired.

Oh! You want to shift morning to afternoon?
Impossibility! Go get wings,
That your time matures not before you,
It is more pleasant to move in and with your time!

Your time is your life,
Do not lavish your time on nothing,
Your youthful time is weightier in value,
Spend the time to gain what sustains.

In a Nutshell;
Time is a free gift in man's disposition to manage, however managed determines how well his life would be. A lot of people (youths especially) think time endures forever. No, it has no endurance for us when we get slow with our lives, it waits for no body. A day added to your days on earth is a pointer to you that a day(time) of your life is expired. And the truth remains that, you can never go back to yesterday,it is gone and gone forever.
      Dearly Youth, once you step out of this season of your life, you can never return to it. If you give it to locusts to eat, if you give your life to frivolities, what will you show forth in your next season of life! Time is given you to buy all that will sustain you and time in this season is more of value because, you use it to buy all that will sustain you now and then (in your youthful and old age).
       There is time for every purpose under the heaven as the preacher wrote. (Ecclesiastes 3:1). If you fail to fulfill purpose in the youthful age, the rest of your time on earth becomes difficult, because you're carrying the weight of the past season to the old age. So jerk up from your slumber and get wings to fly with time. The symptom of time wastage is a void life. If your life is void of substance, it means you have misused or wasted some times in your life. But I have a good news for you, I mean it doesn't end there. There is a God who restores, He restores time also, He said He will restore the years that locusts have eaten to you, that's if you will agree to manage it well. "I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten--the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm--my great army that I sent among you." (Joel 2:25).

THE MIRROR: IDENTITY AND SELFHOOD

Identity. It’s the essence of who you are—your personality, the core of your being. Selfhood, on the other hand, is the expression of that identity, the way you present yourself to the world. Think back to a time when you had to show your identity card. Do you remember the reaction of the person you handed it to? Likely, they nodded in approval, having seen all the necessary information about you on that card. Your identity, in that moment, was defined by the details captured on that small piece of plastic. But identity is more than just what's written on a card. It’s how you define yourself and how others perceive you. It’s the name you give yourself, the image you project, and the way people recognize you. Selfhood is often conveyed through three key aspects: - Dressing (Your Appearance) - Actions (What You Do and How You Do It) - Speech (The Words You Speak and How You Utter Them)  Dressing (Your Appearance) There’s a common saying: "Appearance shows the manner." Where...

The Greatest Goal

When the ball enters the net, they say it's a goal! And the loosing team feel defeated forgetting that they've got the greatest goal.  Same to a man who has all his goals lain down and strategically pulling his efforts towards the goal but to realize at the end that, his goals can't be achieved, for known or unknown reasons. He looses strength. At times, he can feel like it's over. But the truth remains that it's not over until it is over. He's got the greatest goal.       Really, a goal is the achievement toward which effort is directed. And billions are the "I want to", "by God's grace I will", "in fact, I must" in the speeches of every man, especially at the beginning of every matter, but strength wanes and the story changes maybe in the middle of the road. Because all efforts put towards the achievement of the goals seem to be less affective. The truth is, no man has control over whatever happens and will happen....
