The Youth Proverbs (Vol.9): "Get Off The Slippers From Your Foot, Don't Slip Like Them"

In slippers,
On slippery pathways,
So is every youth legs,
The way of youth slips.

Yet they run,
They slip and fall and roll,
Beautiful palace in the heart to reach,
What a slippery way to pass.

Waiting is a taboo,
Every one on a speed,
But, they fall one by one,
How on this pathway do one progress?

Eventhough a taboo,
Dearly youth wait,
Wait! Wait! Wait!
Don't slip like them.

In waiting is more speed than running,
Running gets no one nowhere,
Wait and live the eagle life,
If on the slippery way you run, you'll fall!

Wait and suck knowledge,
Wait and build boots,
Wait and build wings,
You can soar with wings.

Trash it out!
You don't have to be like them,
Though in their minds they wear same uniform,
Don't run like them!

The first to take off might be the last to land,
And the last who soars the first to land,
If they line up on the track,
Take a shift out of the track to reason.

Your values is in your uniqueness,
They walk and run on the slippery pathways,
You soar above them while you wait,
While you wait and fine your own way.

After all, you are not heading to the same palace,
All the way to palace, but different palace,
If you follow them, you will slip and miss your way,
Wait and get off the slippers.

In a Nutshell;
Youth, these days walk with a uniform mindset. They want to go the same pathway, even though they slip, they want to follow their friends' way of doing it, they want to follow their society's way of doing it. They never see any value in being unique.
Joseph could have escaped being put to jail if he did it their way in Egypt by sleeping with his boss's wife. His journey might be so fast, because he would enjoy her master's wife's favour, but he would not reach his destination according to God's plan. But because of his uniqueness(self-discipline and the fear of God)  displayed, he soared from prison to palace.(Genesis 39:7-20).
It is very important to understand the danger behind uniformity of life and comparison. Don't compare yourself with anybody who is not you, instead wait to fine the you in you and follow your own pathway.

THE MIRROR: IDENTITY AND SELFHOOD

Identity. It’s the essence of who you are—your personality, the core of your being. Selfhood, on the other hand, is the expression of that identity, the way you present yourself to the world. Think back to a time when you had to show your identity card. Do you remember the reaction of the person you handed it to? Likely, they nodded in approval, having seen all the necessary information about you on that card. Your identity, in that moment, was defined by the details captured on that small piece of plastic. But identity is more than just what's written on a card. It’s how you define yourself and how others perceive you. It’s the name you give yourself, the image you project, and the way people recognize you. Selfhood is often conveyed through three key aspects: - Dressing (Your Appearance) - Actions (What You Do and How You Do It) - Speech (The Words You Speak and How You Utter Them)  Dressing (Your Appearance) There’s a common saying: "Appearance shows the manner." Where...

The Greatest Goal

When the ball enters the net, they say it's a goal! And the loosing team feel defeated forgetting that they've got the greatest goal.  Same to a man who has all his goals lain down and strategically pulling his efforts towards the goal but to realize at the end that, his goals can't be achieved, for known or unknown reasons. He looses strength. At times, he can feel like it's over. But the truth remains that it's not over until it is over. He's got the greatest goal.       Really, a goal is the achievement toward which effort is directed. And billions are the "I want to", "by God's grace I will", "in fact, I must" in the speeches of every man, especially at the beginning of every matter, but strength wanes and the story changes maybe in the middle of the road. Because all efforts put towards the achievement of the goals seem to be less affective. The truth is, no man has control over whatever happens and will happen....
