INTRODUCING YOU TO YOU- #2 YOU ARE A TRIPARTITE BEING

How interesting does it feel to know that you are an immortal being? Bum!🌟 That is who you are! You are a spirit!

Knowing who you are helps you to approach life rightly as you strive daily to fulfill purpose.

You are a spirit that lives in the body and has a soul.

You connect with the spiritual realms through your spirit.

You connect with the soulical realm through your mind.

You connect with the physical realm through your body.

You are a tripartite being. Your spirit, soul and body are so important and must align with the purpose of your existence if you must fulfill it.

You need to take care of the three you, if you must live. (1Thessalonians 5:23).

The only way to take care of your spirit is to yield it to God, your creator by accepting Him as your Lord and saviour. His Holy Spirit will dwell in you and through prayer and fasting, reading and studying the scripture, your spirit will stay holy and aligned with God.

As a man, you have the choice to choose who you yield your spirit to, either to God or to the devil. But it's best for you to yield your spirit to God for He is your creator and in Him you can fulfill your life purpose. (Genesis 2: 7).

You can rightly care for your soul when your spirit is yielded to the creator. In your soul dwells your mind, will and emotions. You care for your soul by being disciplined enough to yield to the rules of the spirit. You care for your soul by engaging in positive and gainful activities, like reading (the scripture and healthy books), listening to words (preachings, teachings, positive motivations) and good musics etc. All of these penetrate straight into your soul and breed your actions.

Your body is the physical (outer) you. It is subjected to the laws of nature like hunger, pain, decay and so on. Your body is often affected by what goes on in your spirit and soul. If your spirit is not well cared for, it will affect your soul and if the two are not in a good place, your body, surely can not receive the best care.

So then, the first way to care for your body is to care for your spirit and soul. Your physical actions are the fruits of your inner being. (Matthew 15:19)

You must also remember that, the moment your body stops functioning, your spirit leaves. Therefore, you must take your body care as serious as possible, eat healthily, exercise as often as possible, drink water as often and much as possible, daily. Do not leave your body care to chances.

For you to live long and fulfill purpose, you must understand the three you, how they function and how to take care of them.

Confession: I am a spirit, I live in the body and have a soul, I yield my spirit to God, my creator, so that I can take dominion over my soul and body to fulfill my life purpose. Amen.

THE MIRROR: IDENTITY AND SELFHOOD

Identity. It’s the essence of who you are—your personality, the core of your being. Selfhood, on the other hand, is the expression of that identity, the way you present yourself to the world. Think back to a time when you had to show your identity card. Do you remember the reaction of the person you handed it to? Likely, they nodded in approval, having seen all the necessary information about you on that card. Your identity, in that moment, was defined by the details captured on that small piece of plastic. But identity is more than just what's written on a card. It’s how you define yourself and how others perceive you. It’s the name you give yourself, the image you project, and the way people recognize you. Selfhood is often conveyed through three key aspects: - Dressing (Your Appearance) - Actions (What You Do and How You Do It) - Speech (The Words You Speak and How You Utter Them)  Dressing (Your Appearance) There’s a common saying: "Appearance shows the manner." Where...

The Greatest Goal

When the ball enters the net, they say it's a goal! And the loosing team feel defeated forgetting that they've got the greatest goal.  Same to a man who has all his goals lain down and strategically pulling his efforts towards the goal but to realize at the end that, his goals can't be achieved, for known or unknown reasons. He looses strength. At times, he can feel like it's over. But the truth remains that it's not over until it is over. He's got the greatest goal.       Really, a goal is the achievement toward which effort is directed. And billions are the "I want to", "by God's grace I will", "in fact, I must" in the speeches of every man, especially at the beginning of every matter, but strength wanes and the story changes maybe in the middle of the road. Because all efforts put towards the achievement of the goals seem to be less affective. The truth is, no man has control over whatever happens and will happen....
