INTRODUCING YOU TO YOU #7: YOU ARE PERFECT

You are the wholest creature. Yes! You are perfect.

You are pretty, handsome, awesome and made wholly.

Darling, the one who created you is an author of perfection. He is perfect and all the works of His hands are without fault.

Are you fair to look upon or unsightly? You are as perfect as you are.

Are you thin or fat? The best it can be is the best it is.

Do you wish you were fair and not dark or vice versa? Dear, you can’t be such.

Is your skin acne-prone? You can’t be more perfect.

Do you resent your dental composition? You don’t have to. Why? Because that’s how best it can be.

Let me share my story with you. The basis of my timidity and low self-esteem in my teens is my dental composition. There would never be a day someone, somewhere would not talk about it. My diastema was not as wide as it is today, my upper fore teeth were long that my lips could not cover them…the first thing anyone would probably notice about me would be the way I used to (unconsciously) open my mouth. I was the ugliest among my peers (that was what people used to say and I believed it). Until I came to the realization that I am wholly made, I couldn’t come out from the prison of low self-esteem.

I need to let you know that, your physique is not the work of your hands that you can modify at any time, it is “a ready-made” by God, your creator.

I have never seen anyone that looks perfect in the eyes of any man, not even in his own eyes. Being able to see imperfection in perfection is a core characteristic of human being. Human beings always want more.

Why must you always feel imperfect when your creator has called you perfect? He said, “you are wonderfully and fearfully made”.

However you look, you are perfect.

You are uniquely packaged that no one can be like you, as you can’t be like anybody.

All you need to do is, accept the perfection of your physique. You won’t be you if you don’t look the way you look. Your physical identification is your physique and that is the best you can be.

Stop trying everything to modify the way God has created you. Accept your being and physique.

Well, there are body changes caused by situations (such as food, childbearing, climate, natural disaster, accident, and so on), these can be controlled but not all the time, when they seem uncontrollable, you must learn to leave with the new change, it another level of perfection.

Confession:
I am the wholiest creature of God, I am fearfully and wonderfully made, I am unique, I accept my physique, I refuse to compare myself with anybody, I am me and I am wholly made by God my creator, I embrace His perfection on my body, I am perfect.

THE MIRROR: IDENTITY AND SELFHOOD

Identity. It’s the essence of who you are—your personality, the core of your being. Selfhood, on the other hand, is the expression of that identity, the way you present yourself to the world. Think back to a time when you had to show your identity card. Do you remember the reaction of the person you handed it to? Likely, they nodded in approval, having seen all the necessary information about you on that card. Your identity, in that moment, was defined by the details captured on that small piece of plastic. But identity is more than just what's written on a card. It’s how you define yourself and how others perceive you. It’s the name you give yourself, the image you project, and the way people recognize you. Selfhood is often conveyed through three key aspects: - Dressing (Your Appearance) - Actions (What You Do and How You Do It) - Speech (The Words You Speak and How You Utter Them)  Dressing (Your Appearance) There’s a common saying: "Appearance shows the manner." Where...

The Greatest Goal

When the ball enters the net, they say it's a goal! And the loosing team feel defeated forgetting that they've got the greatest goal.  Same to a man who has all his goals lain down and strategically pulling his efforts towards the goal but to realize at the end that, his goals can't be achieved, for known or unknown reasons. He looses strength. At times, he can feel like it's over. But the truth remains that it's not over until it is over. He's got the greatest goal.       Really, a goal is the achievement toward which effort is directed. And billions are the "I want to", "by God's grace I will", "in fact, I must" in the speeches of every man, especially at the beginning of every matter, but strength wanes and the story changes maybe in the middle of the road. Because all efforts put towards the achievement of the goals seem to be less affective. The truth is, no man has control over whatever happens and will happen....
