Your Worth Is Not In The Expensiveness Of What You Wear

Most times, Appearance shows the manner but not the worth of a person. How do I mean? I mean that, your appearance is not your worth.      Sometime ago, during my primary school days, a group of people came to my school to educate us about healthy diet/nutrition, they came with a lot of gifts like tooth brush, blue band(bread spread) etc.to be given to pupils who correctly answered their questions. But it's a thing of surprise that ninety percent (90%) of the gifts they gave that day went to two kids of the same parents who appeared in rough school uniform with no school sandals not even slippers. They should be considered poor because of their appearance but richest because of the value (of intelligence and brilliance) they carried. Your value is not in what you wear.      It is true that our dressing and our appearance have a long way to go in identifying who we are. But is not also a lie that what you wear is not synonymous to the value you c...

Why Worry?

Being ignorant of the fact that worry changes nothing, I used to sit down for hours even in the middle of the night to think and think and worry and cry about the situations around my life. Actually, I wasn't the only one in that shoe, there are even still a lot of people in this shoe that I've thrown into a bottomless pit. What is the meaning of the word "worry"?      Painting the word in my own way, Worry is an act of suffocating oneself with needless thoughts. It is trying to manipulate your thoughts around a critical situation that is definitely unchangeable for man.  Worry is a supresser of morale, a second of worry, a cubit of morale crushed.  According to the scripture, Worry is an act of being faithless. It is the end-product of faithlessness or lack of faith in God's word.  Simply, it is underrating (the power of the word of) God. Because, God commanded us in the scripture that, we should not worry about anything. Therefore I tell you, ...

The Greatest Goal

When the ball enters the net, they say it's a goal! And the loosing team feel defeated forgetting that they've got the greatest goal.  Same to a man who has all his goals lain down and strategically pulling his efforts towards the goal but to realize at the end that, his goals can't be achieved, for known or unknown reasons. He looses strength. At times, he can feel like it's over. But the truth remains that it's not over until it is over. He's got the greatest goal.       Really, a goal is the achievement toward which effort is directed. And billions are the "I want to", "by God's grace I will", "in fact, I must" in the speeches of every man, especially at the beginning of every matter, but strength wanes and the story changes maybe in the middle of the road. Because all efforts put towards the achievement of the goals seem to be less affective. The truth is, no man has control over whatever happens and will happen....

The Youth Proverbs (Vol.18): "Want vs Need

There is a picture in the heart of every man, Of who he wants to be, Of what he wants to become, Of what he wants! There is how every man feels it should be, No man wants nothing, Every man with desires in his heart, Every man with his willpower. In truth, every one has a need, Every man in need of something, Howbeit, what he wants is not his needs, The want clashes. Want and need clash, One crushes another, One prevails, The two is not the best but one. Better is the need even if it tastes bitter, It tastes sweet at the end, Than the sweet wants that ends bitterly, Make your needs your wants. There is a thought in His heart, That you need in whole, So high as the heavens to the earth, Yet man must find it to find his way. Do not miss your way on your way to finding your way, O'Youth! The way is at the center of His thought, His will is full of your needs, But your willpower must bend to His will first. If it must be His purpose for you, You can not follow your way, If ...

The Youth Proverbs (Vol.17):"You Are A Priest With Royal Honour"

You are a straight betwixt two, So He calls you, a priest, Your spirit contacts the spiritual realm, Your body contacts the physical realm. You can see, when you close your eyes, You can see, when they are widely opened, You can behold the two realms, The spiritual, the physical, and so you can control. You are a stronghold with a staff of authority, Unless you do not know, You are just like your creator, You are the image of the most powerful one. You are a priest with a royal honour, Every priest has a powerhouse, Every priest has an alter, Where they offer sacrifices. Do you have a place called; A power house, A place of dominion and control, A secret place of covenant? Every glory that shines, shines from a powerhouse, So is every glory that fades, Either in light or darkness, A priest must be in charge. You are the called priest to man your own powerhouse, You are called to offer sacrifices, Until the aroma of faith goes up, If not, any priest will press the remote cont...

The Youth Proverbs (Vol. 16): "If You Hate Poverty, You Must Hate Your Bed."

Poverty is a curse, Yet can be a man's friend, If you love to sleep, be ready for its rain, For no sleeper earns the wealth. Poverty is not lack of money, If all you have is money, you are a pauper, Lack of diligence is lack of wealth, If you have the money and love your bed, you are poor. If you hate poverty, you must love the work, If you crave the wealth, you must hate your bed, Wealth is a blessing, But it comes through deligence not by mercy. The world is full of wealth, But you must offer your work to earn the wealth, If you offer no work, you will earn no wealth, You offer your work, you earn the wealth. You say I will tomorrow, Tomorrow after tomorrow, Yet time is not déjà vu, How long will you sleep, o' sleeper? If you can do no thing with your time, If you can give no thing to life, If you love the pleasure of sleep, Chai! Poverty is looming. If you get and get and get and give nothing, If you spend and spend and earn nothing, There is a place for poverty ...

The Youth Proverbs (Vol.15): "Your time is Your Life"

It happens to Time as it is to man:  They mature and expire. Life in volume,Time in seconds, They grow, mature and expire. A second wasted, a (volume of) life wasted, Time is a river that swims life away, The life of man is his time spent, Anyhow spent, time has no voice to shout. Spent but not a currency, Currency has a circle, No one sees the return of time, It flows and fades like smoke. The most expensive time of man is; The youthful season, The shortest of man's time, The sweetest of man's life. Your youthful season,  Though short is greater than your old age, The value is in thousands fold, Thus locusts seek to eat it up. Time has no value tag, You add value to your time spent living, The substance in your life is proportional to the value of your time spent, No substance in life, no value in time spent. If your life is void, your time on earth is of no value, And remember, time flies, If it flies, you've got to fly, Do not crawl while your time flies. For ...
