THE SUCCESS CITY

The Success City is where successful people live in. This city is not actually a geographical location but 'A realm'.  The highest realm of achievement is called The Success City. This is where every human being is destined to live in and so because of her beauty, everyone craves to live in the city.

    Making an abode for yourself in this City takes work (this includes the work of your hand, the favour, mercy and grace of God). One mystery about the city is that it's built with your works while yet on your way, and until the work is done you can't reach the city. Unlike the physical location where you can easily rent an apartment for yourself to stay, this City has no apartment for rent, until your own apartment is built in there, you cannot live in the city.

      This City is on the mountain top of life where you are visible to all, even people who never knew you. Living on this mountain is the most difficult thing. No wonder some people's houses collapse, and they have to vacate the city. Living in the City of success takes a rigorous work than working to reach the city. The city is a place where you work to uphold your own abode, if you sleep or slack out in the city, your house will collapse and because there is no apartment for rentage you would have to vacate the city asap.

     There is a height of success predestined by God for every human being. That is, no matter how far or little you can work, your abode in the Success City cannot be bigger or smaller than what God has destined it to be. God knows the ability and capacity of every man, He would not give you what you cannot handle or manage, He deals with you according to the level of the strength He has given you, so that, by the time you reach the Success City you would be able to manage your own abode.

      On the road to this city, it is not only you are walking, you find people on the road who can help you, but on the mountain top, you are the owner of your own abode, you have the responsibility to uphold and take care of your own apartment.

     The Success City according to the plan of God is the destination of every human being He has created. But why is it that, it's only few that reaches the city? It is simple, your work and walk with God takes you to that City, the moment one of these is lacking, it means you might be on the road till you die, in fact many people died on their road to this City.

     Principal Factors that delay or stop people on the road to Success City are;
1. Lack of Knowledge about God: God is the creator of everything on earth, so without Him, it would be difficult to reach the Success City. And if peradventure you smuggled your way to the city, you might later have to vacate when your abode collapses.

2. Laziness: Laziness has children, including, procrastination and slothfulness.

3. Distraction by Devil: Devil is the enemy of God and His creatures, devil does not always want man to reach the city of success, therefore he causes delay and distractions.

4. Untransformed Mind: A lot of people are on their way to Success City, but their hearts never leave where they started. If you must go far in life, your mind must go farther. A mind walks to the city takes you there.

5. Self-hatred: Many people fail today, not because they are not serious about what they do, but because they so hate themselves and refuse to accept the fact that they can become a better person. The truth about Success City is that you can't get there if you do not believe you can. So, to reach the beautiful City of Success, you have to love and believe in yourself.

     The road to this city is just like a ladder, meaning, it is a step-by-step journey, and each step is with different Principles, at times on the road, you encounter failures and dark times, you make mistakes, you feel tired many times, but you keep moving because God is with you.

  Basic Concepts to understand for the building and upholding of your abode in the Success City includes knowledge, Meditation, Consistency, Preparation, Commitment and Faith (in God and in yourself).

THE MIRROR: IDENTITY AND SELFHOOD

Identity. It’s the essence of who you are—your personality, the core of your being. Selfhood, on the other hand, is the expression of that identity, the way you present yourself to the world. Think back to a time when you had to show your identity card. Do you remember the reaction of the person you handed it to? Likely, they nodded in approval, having seen all the necessary information about you on that card. Your identity, in that moment, was defined by the details captured on that small piece of plastic. But identity is more than just what's written on a card. It’s how you define yourself and how others perceive you. It’s the name you give yourself, the image you project, and the way people recognize you. Selfhood is often conveyed through three key aspects: - Dressing (Your Appearance) - Actions (What You Do and How You Do It) - Speech (The Words You Speak and How You Utter Them)  Dressing (Your Appearance) There’s a common saying: "Appearance shows the manner." Where...

The Greatest Goal

When the ball enters the net, they say it's a goal! And the loosing team feel defeated forgetting that they've got the greatest goal.  Same to a man who has all his goals lain down and strategically pulling his efforts towards the goal but to realize at the end that, his goals can't be achieved, for known or unknown reasons. He looses strength. At times, he can feel like it's over. But the truth remains that it's not over until it is over. He's got the greatest goal.       Really, a goal is the achievement toward which effort is directed. And billions are the "I want to", "by God's grace I will", "in fact, I must" in the speeches of every man, especially at the beginning of every matter, but strength wanes and the story changes maybe in the middle of the road. Because all efforts put towards the achievement of the goals seem to be less affective. The truth is, no man has control over whatever happens and will happen....
