Men and women on the cue in front of the mirror of this world to see how they look; they have depended so much on what they see in the mirror of the world that it is who they are. Little did they know that there is a place to find their true Identity. The place to find your true Identity is in God.
In the beginning when God created the heaven and the earth and created man in His image to be the ruler of the earth, it was a big slap on the devil because he thought all the authority on earth should belong to him since he had been sent down as a result of his pride to the God of heaven.
After that devil was sent down from the glorious city, heaven, all his efforts were to take away the authority and rulership of the earth from man, therefore he placed sin before the first man and woman, and they fell (Genesis 3). Through the fall of man, devil took the rulership and man loses his identity.
Since the fall of man, man (human beings) could not relate with God as it used to be, a line was drawn between man and God, and since then, man have been confused about his Identity, the first glory he was created with had left him, so he thought he is of the world and concorded with the devil to rule. This persisted until God sent His only begotten son to the earth to redeem man from Identity confusion and the guilt of sin.
Now that Jesus Christ have come, there is a way out for man, there is now a route to the place of man's Identity, the place of man's Identity is in God.
Only in God can man find his true Identity through Jesus Christ the son. If you want to know who you are, there is a place to find it, you must be in Christ, that is, accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour. As it was written that Jesus is the WAY through which you can go to God and God is the one that will tell and show you who you are. John 14:6.
The true picture of your identity is revealed when you give your life to Jesus, He is the way to God.
Humm, that is just the wisdom of life, it's always a good thing to identify our personality early. Thanks for this post. More strength and wisdom.
