Women and Motherhood

You are who you are and not a mother! Motherhood is never and can never be your *identity*. Remember, you were somebody even before you got married and somebody before you became a mother. You are who you are and not a mother. Yeah! I mean what I wrote. Motherhood is only a role in your lifetime and not your definition. If all that defines you as a woman is motherhood, you are have missed some steps you need to retrace back as soon as possible. A woman is a being with many role, even at a time. She could be a wife, a friend, a girl, a cook, a mother, a sister, a house maid, a counselor, even at a time. So, it happens that many young ladies are only preparing to become a good mother in their marriages. That is a totally wrong mindset. What about being who you are, I mean living in your true identity and prepare to take each role? When you live in your true identity and you believe in yourself, it will be easier for you to take each and every role of your life effectively and...

My Journey To The Longtown (The World Of Self-hatred)

I would have loved to film this and post it  on my YouTube channel (The Life Manager's Channel), but it was impossible for me because of lack of gadgets, but I hope you will enjoy reading.  My YouTube channel link: https://youtu.be/REXJ5nHUsmA please subscribe. I grew up to hate myself. Though loved by a few, my parents and siblings. Maybe some friends also loved me, I didn't know. I used to always think that every one was better than me. I wanted to please everyone at all cost. Anyone could abuse, insult, embarrass and do all sort yet got away with it. I would praise people for the little they did and talk myself down on the huge I did. I never saw anything good about myself. A word of praise used to seem to me like a mock. When it's time to take pictures, what used to run in my head is, after all I'm not beautiful. I used to look so rough and unkempt in the name of who would value my neatness. My mother's conclusion was that, I could not be easily plea...

The Beauty of Life

Life is beautiful and more beautiful with Jesus. There is something beautiful about everything and stages in life, it depends on your own personal disposition to and understanding about each of them. The beauty of life lies in understanding the principles that beautify each season and spheres of life. Let me show you some of the principles: The beauty of living is living with God. The beauty of human is the air in his nostrils. The beauty of manhood is power. The beauty of  womanhood is virtue. The beauty of childhood is his obedience. The beauty of selfhood is self-love. The beauty of Youth is strength. The beauty of singlehood is purity. The beauty of friendship secrecy. The beauty of marriage is oneness. The beauty of motherhood is (God's) Wisdom. The beauty of fatherhood is freedom and flexibility. The beauty of adulthood is settlement (living in purpose). The beauty of old age peace and good health.

Your Worth Is Not In The Expensiveness Of What You Wear

Most times, Appearance shows the manner but not the worth of a person. How do I mean? I mean that, your appearance is not your worth.      Sometime ago, during my primary school days, a group of people came to my school to educate us about healthy diet/nutrition, they came with a lot of gifts like tooth brush, blue band(bread spread) etc.to be given to pupils who correctly answered their questions. But it's a thing of surprise that ninety percent (90%) of the gifts they gave that day went to two kids of the same parents who appeared in rough school uniform with no school sandals not even slippers. They should be considered poor because of their appearance but richest because of the value (of intelligence and brilliance) they carried. Your value is not in what you wear.      It is true that our dressing and our appearance have a long way to go in identifying who we are. But is not also a lie that what you wear is not synonymous to the value you c...

Why Worry?

Being ignorant of the fact that worry changes nothing, I used to sit down for hours even in the middle of the night to think and think and worry and cry about the situations around my life. Actually, I wasn't the only one in that shoe, there are even still a lot of people in this shoe that I've thrown into a bottomless pit. What is the meaning of the word "worry"?      Painting the word in my own way, Worry is an act of suffocating oneself with needless thoughts. It is trying to manipulate your thoughts around a critical situation that is definitely unchangeable for man.  Worry is a supresser of morale, a second of worry, a cubit of morale crushed.  According to the scripture, Worry is an act of being faithless. It is the end-product of faithlessness or lack of faith in God's word.  Simply, it is underrating (the power of the word of) God. Because, God commanded us in the scripture that, we should not worry about anything. Therefore I tell you, ...

The Greatest Goal

When the ball enters the net, they say it's a goal! And the loosing team feel defeated forgetting that they've got the greatest goal.  Same to a man who has all his goals lain down and strategically pulling his efforts towards the goal but to realize at the end that, his goals can't be achieved, for known or unknown reasons. He looses strength. At times, he can feel like it's over. But the truth remains that it's not over until it is over. He's got the greatest goal.       Really, a goal is the achievement toward which effort is directed. And billions are the "I want to", "by God's grace I will", "in fact, I must" in the speeches of every man, especially at the beginning of every matter, but strength wanes and the story changes maybe in the middle of the road. Because all efforts put towards the achievement of the goals seem to be less affective. The truth is, no man has control over whatever happens and will happen....

The Youth Proverbs (Vol.18): "Want vs Need

There is a picture in the heart of every man, Of who he wants to be, Of what he wants to become, Of what he wants! There is how every man feels it should be, No man wants nothing, Every man with desires in his heart, Every man with his willpower. In truth, every one has a need, Every man in need of something, Howbeit, what he wants is not his needs, The want clashes. Want and need clash, One crushes another, One prevails, The two is not the best but one. Better is the need even if it tastes bitter, It tastes sweet at the end, Than the sweet wants that ends bitterly, Make your needs your wants. There is a thought in His heart, That you need in whole, So high as the heavens to the earth, Yet man must find it to find his way. Do not miss your way on your way to finding your way, O'Youth! The way is at the center of His thought, His will is full of your needs, But your willpower must bend to His will first. If it must be His purpose for you, You can not follow your way, If ...
